Welcome! Thanks for visiting with me again this year. I won't spend time on the commonplace glass ornaments available at major thrift-type stores. Rather, I'm digging around the internet to find the most unique assortments of glass Christmas ornaments for this Christmas season. Good hunting! Charlotte Ogelsby
Holiday Fun. One of the moments I most cherish, is pulling out all the glass ornaments and recalling the memories each represents with family. In this column, I'll publish fun, boutique websites that celebrate something special about the holidays. To start with, let's enjoy some Christmas songs to really get us in the mood.

Radko Little Gems

One of my favorite trees to decorate is the table top Christmas tree. Many people over 60 still love to decorate for Christmas, but have no need nor inclination to put up an 8-foot tree. Most prefer a tabletop tree, something in the 2 to 3 foot range usually. One of the advantages, in addition to be relatively easy and fast to decorate as well as store, is that you can reach around all sides of the tree easily, and get your ornaments in just the right spots.

For a smaller tree, you don't need and can't use ornaments in the 4-6" range. You need ornaments that range from around .75" up to 3 inches for the bottom. The best out there for this kind of decorating are Radko little gem ornaments. They range in size and fit perfectly in the nooks and crannies of smaller trees.

Consider several stocking ornaments, a Santa or two, and maybe a few gems for the younger kids like Radko's trains and teddy bears. They have a wide selection of designs in this size range so that everyone feels there's something on the tree just for them.
