Glass Christmas Ornaments for Kids
While "glass" and "kids" usually don't go together, I was thinking the other day about how important a baby's Christmas ornament is, for example. It's not expected that the baby actually play with the ornament -- it's in her or his honor. At some point, certainly around age 7 or so, kids might be allowed at least to touch and handle a glass ornament, having good knowledge by that time that glass is fragile but can be successfully handled.
So, I thought I'd look to see if glass was actually a barrier to kids, and if not, to what extent nice ornaments in blown glass were actually available for younger people. Interestingly, I did indeed find a well-known, famous designer line -- Radko kids ornaments. They've got an amazing selection of rocket ships and kids in space and all sorts of creative, high-end designs. These are the kinds of things that become heirlooms, the kind of thing a daughter or son in their 30s looks back and thanks Mama for silently as they reminisce about the special times of childhood. These are ornaments that will be remembered.
I think my favorite place has the personalized kids ornaments that most of us are looking for.
Their glass assortment is actually quite remarkable, and really fun to explore. They offer the expected Elmo and Abby in glass, but then there are over 100 unique kids ornaments that you won't find elsewhere, and they can be personalized. For example, there's an extraordinary Cindarella ornament, several pirate ornaments, and other choices for older kids like a beautiful glass piano and others. I love the fact that they assembled both the usual and the unusual together in one place for glass Christmas ornaments for kids.
